I begin with sincere gratitude to outgoing President Mrs. Mei Hung and the Executive Committee for their dedicated leadership and service to the Chinese community. I am deeply honoured by the trust placed in me and embrace this role with humility and responsibility.

For nearly a century, the Chinese Benevolent Association has been a steadfast presence —honouring tradition, supporting community, and uniting us through shared values. Its achievements reflect the Chinese community’s collective strength, resilience, and commitment to one another. 

As your new President, I am committed to leading with integrity, openness, and heart. I recognize the significance of our history and the responsibility we carry, and I ask for your support as we move forward together. By listening, engaging in honest dialogue, and working with care and collaboration, we can build bridges—within and beyond our community.

Together, let’s make this term one where we honour our roots while embracing new opportunities for growth and connection.
